A Laurel County man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the death of a woman found in a burned out home.
Jeffrey Sweeney will serve time for the March 2012 death of Teresa White. Her body was found in her burned out home on Newby Lane.

Sweeney was sentenced Friday for murder, robbery, tampering with physical evidence and arson.
