Firefighters in northern Madison County say they fear the man who lives in a cabin that burned early Thursday morning might be inside.
The man, whose ex-wife has identified as Walt Liebengood, is still missing, because firefighters say they have not yet been able to search the ruins of the home because it is still too hot.

Neighbors spotted the cabin on Whitlock Road, near the Kentucky River, in flames around 12:45 a.m. The fire was so intense, it spread to a nearby car, damaging it.
Neighbors say both of Liebengood’s vehicles are on the property, leading them to believe he was home at the time of the fire.
