Missing Person Police Search for Inmate Who Failed to Return from Work Leave

Police are searching for a man they say failed to return to the Fayette County jail after a work leave on Friday.

Officials say Robert Lee Eades failed to return to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Division of Community Corrections on a court ordered pass. They say the 38-year-old was released on a work pass at 9:00 a.m. and was scheduled to return at 2:00 pm.

Eades was originally charged with assault 4th degree.

He is described as a white male, 5’0″ weighing about 130 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.

A warrant for escape 2nd has been issued.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Eades should contact the Lexington Police Department.
