Identity Theft Mom of Casino Cashier Accused in Yolo County, CA

A Rancho Cordova woman arrested for identity theft at the Cache Creek Casino Resort was allegedly aided by her daughter, a cashier at theĀ casino, investigators say.

Regina Reshell Payne, 44, and daughter Keitisha Lashell Tucker, 26, of Sacramento were taken into custody Tuesday night.

The Yolo County Sheriff’s Department says between early May of this year and Sept. 24, Payne made nine fraudulent credit cards transactions at the casino totaling $34,000. She is accused of using different phony credit cards and a fake Illinois driver’s license in the transactions. Tucker is accused of helping to enable the fraud.

The women were booked into Yolo County JailĀ on suspicion of grand theft, burglary, unauthorized use of a credit card and conspiracy. Bail was set at $215,000 for Payne; $100,000 for Tucker. The pair were expected to be arraigned in Yolo County Court Friday.
