The body of a missing southern New Jersey man has been found in a gravel pit in the town where he lived.
But authorities say it’s still not clear what caused the death of 23-year-old Andrew Taylor of Buena Vista Township, whose body was found late Saturday morning by family members. It also was not clear how long Taylor had been dead or how long his body may have been in the pit area.

Autopsy results have not been released, but Atlantic County prosecutors say that information gathered by investigators shows “there is no imminent danger to local residents.”
Taylor was last heard from on Sept. 22.
