The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Northern Virginia-DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force today publicly announced the arrest three suspects as part of ongoing investigations.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the men are alleged to have traveled to an area in Loudoun County to engage in sexual acts with children under the age of 15. Investigators say the suspects began their communication with the minors via the Internet.

The arrests occurred in August and September.
Anrug Sharma, 34, of Fairfax, was arrested Aug. 31 in the Chantilly area and was charged with one count of use of communication systems to solicit a minor under 15. He was released on a $25,000 bond.
Kenneth Matthew Maleski, 29, of Laurel, MD, was arrested Sept. 6 in the Chantilly area and charged with one count of use of communication systems to solicit a minor and one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor. He was released on a $25,000 bond.
Joseph Michael Confoy, 52, of Ashburn, was arrested Sept.15 in the Chantilly area and was charged with one count of use of communication systems to solicit a minor and one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor. He was released on a $15,000 bond.
