The discovery was made near the home of 29-year-old Freddy Brown whose family said he vanished on February 27. Investigators suspended a ground search due to what they called a “lack of evidence.” Brown’s sister told LEX 18 Saturday that she fears the remains could be her brother.
The remains have been taken to Frankfort to be identified.
