Missing Person Info Received on Missing Columbia Township, MI Man

Police have received information on the location of a 25-year-old man who was reported missing Monday, Oct. 7.

After Columbia Township Police Chief Dave Elwell released information on a missing person report for an Andrew Baughman, police learned that Baughman’s vehicle was parked at the Greyhound terminal in Jackson, a press release states.

According to the release, an employee at the terminal had read on online news report of Baughman being missing, as well as the vehicle description and license plate. The employee called police to report the vehicle was parked at the facility, the press release reads.

After police spoke with Greyhound personnel, it was determined Baughman purchased a ticket for Texas and boarded the bus Sept. 27, according to the release.

Baughman’s parents have been notified and with Baughman’s destination known and his leaving being voluntary, Columbia Township Police Department has closed the missing person case.
