Officials have released the name of a woman killed in a Madison County head-on crash Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on the Battlefield Memorial Parkway just north of the intersection with KY-1016. Police say a Jeep driven by Russell Willey, 29, of McKee and a pickup truck driven by Evelyn Applegate, 53, of Berea collided after a Jeep driven by Wiley crossed the center line. Officials say Applegate died on the way to UK Hospital.

Wiley also suffered injuries, but not life-threatening, according to officials at the scene.
