Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a senior citizen who went missing about two weeks ago.
According to reports Sheldon Leider, 75, was last seen in late October. A resident of the Highland Towers complex in Southfield, he spent one night at a friend’s house in the city and then drove off the next morning.
His vehicle was found in a parking lot in Sterling Heights unlocked and with the keys still in it.

“He was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network on Oct. 31 as a missing/endangered person,” said Lt. Nick Loussia of the Southfield Police Department.
“We ask that anyone who locates him give us a call at (248) 796-5500.”
Leider is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 150 pounds with hazel eyes. Leider, who is on medication, may seem disoriented if he has stopped taking it.
