Police located that car abandoned later. Officers say they found clothes worn in the robbery inside.

An alert officer spotted the suspect in Fayette Mall later Tuesday.

“One of the officers who was in the area recognized him because the picture was distributed to all of our officers, and was able to serve the arrest warrant,” said Lexington Police Department spokesperson Sherelle Roberts said.

Police say they found a marijuana pipe and a scale inside a bag Bredhold was carrying when they arrested him. They say they also found a loaded .380 handgun and more than $550 cash in his pockets.

Bredhold faces a long list of charges including murder, theft by unlawful taking, robbery, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegally carrying a concealed weapon and trafficking marijuana.
