Missing Person Tennessee Man Found in Lexington

A missing Tennessee man was found in Lexington Wednesday.

Jerry Scott was reported missing on Tuesday night in Murfreesboro, TN., according to Nashville TV station WSMV.

The man’s daughter said the 72-year-old was found in Lexington, the station reports. He was apparently found on the side of the road after he ran out gas.

He was reportedly last seen around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on his way to the post office.

Officials said Scott has dementia and suffers from depression. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

WSMV reports Scott is a former circuit court judge in southern Middle Tennessee. He was appointed to the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals in 1979, where he served until 1995.
