Missing Person Rebecca Streeter of Greenfield, Mass.

The search continued for a missing Greenfield woman Sunday, when about 20 people gathered at Abercrombie Field to look for clues into her disappearance of Rebecca Streeter.

35-year-old Rebecca Streeter had a lot going on in her life, when she left her home without her keys, or wallet late at night on February 25th.

She had recently lost a sister, but was also about to become a first-time grandmother.

“Nobody has any clue where she is. And she just needs to be found, regardless. She deserves to come home,” said Kerry Spaulding, a friend of Rebbecca’s since they were six years old.

Crews searched the woods near Abercrombie Field for several hours on Sunday. Though they were amateurs, they did use specific searching techniques.

“Techniques, we just stay in a group. Make sure that no one touches anything, no matter what it is, just don’t touch it, take a picture of it. Even if it is insignificant, tag it, call police,” Lisa Lanno, a psychic medium who has worked with the families of missing persons, explained.

While search crews only found a pair of boots, which they did not think were connected to Rebecca on Sunday, police say it never hurts to report any possible evidence when it comes to a missing person.

“If you think it’s maybe not relevant, go ahead and call and let us know, let us make that determination, because it could be the small piece of information that could be one of the biggest pieces of information about the case,” noted Lt. Joseph Burge of the Greenfield Police.

A canine search shortly after Rebecca’s disappearance led police to believe she left home in a car.

Friends hope she’s safe, and that if someone knows where she is, they’ll come forward.

They say they understand if she is safe, and just wanted to get away for a while, but would like confirmation that she is alive.

Kerry 02;45;04 “I don’t want to think the worst. I don’t want to think the worst. I just want to bring Becky home,” said Spaulding.

Spaulding says searching for her friend gives her peace of mind.

Future searches, in other areas are already in the works.
