One person suffered injuries in a 9-vehicle, chain reaction accident along I-75 Monday morning.
Police say it remains unclear whether ice was a factor in the initial crash, or if it was just slow moving traffic. It started when one vehicle collided into another near mile marker 111. Several other cars couldn’t stop and got tangled up in the mess.

EMS took one driver to the hospital for treatment. Officials called that person’s injuries considerable.
Southbound I-75 was reduced to one lane for a time. Police where in the process of reopening all lanes at around 8:45 a.m.
