Investigators are offering a reward for the arrest of an arsonist who they said set a Corbin home on fire. It happened Monday afternoon on East Wyrick Street.
If you go to the home, reward posters and caution tape are what’s left behind, however Angela Miracle said the inside is a nightmare. She just began the process of buying the home, and now because of the fire she can hardly even go inside.

“It was definitely arson, it was definitely an arson,” said Miracle.
“There were four different fires inside of the house and the chance of there being four different accidental fires are pretty slim,” said West Knox Fire Chief Darryl Baker.
Firefighters said fires were set in three bedrooms and the living room. It happened around 3:30 p.m.on Monday. It was around that time that a neighbor noticed something was wrong.
“She saw somebody running from the back of the house before she noticed the house was on fire,” said Baker.
“I would like to see this person rot in jail for the rest of their nasty life,” said Miracle.
Mircale had just moved into the home with her niece and nephew in February, and said she had invested life savings into the house. While the building itself isn’t destroyed, Miracle said their belongings are lost.
“To lose everything, sentimental things that can’t be replaced, how would they like it?” said Miracle.
Even firefighters said it’s hard to fathom who would put a family through so much pain. Miracle said until she finds out who did it, she’ll find comfort in the good book.
“The Bible says vengeance is mine, so whoever done this to my house, God will pay them back for it,” said Miracle.
If you would like to help Miracle and her family, donations to the Mary Angela Miracle fund can be made at any Wood Forrest National Bank.
Police are offering a reward of up to 1000 dollars for information leading to an arrest.
