The Van Buren County Sheriffs Department is looking for a missing person. It says that police were called to the Mattawan home of 17 year old Joseph Daniel Taylor on Monday, April 21st when he’d had a dispute with his mother. By the time officers arrived, Taylor had left, and family friends began searching the area for him when he still hadn’t returned several hours later.

As of Saturday morning, Taylor was still missing. Police say that he’s supposed to be taking medication daily, and hadn’t taken any the day he left the home.
Taylor’s described as being about five foot ten, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighing about 155 pounds. He doesn’t have any tattoos, scars, or other visible marks. Anyone who sees him is asked to call the Van Buren County Sheriffs Department at 269-657-3101.
