Rochester Police say a Mayo Clinic patient has reported a unique type of identity theft. They say the woman claims someone else has been using her health insurance… for two years.
She says she finally discovered the problem after getting a bill in the mail.

The 28-year-old patient says her name was used for 9 different doctors visits that she’s never been to.
Rochester Police say they’ve never seen a scam like this and that Mayo Clinic is handling the matter.
