Charges have been filed against the person officials say was the driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist in Laurel County last week.
Officials say 51-year-old Anthony Raymond was the man behind the wheel of the car that pulled into the path of a motorcycle on US 25 on May 7, killing 71-year-old Randolph Scott.

According to officials, a purple colored Dodge Neon pulled out from Hazel Patch Road to go South on US 25 and into the path of the Harley Davidson motorcycle that was traveling North bound on US 25.
Scott died at the scene. The driver of the car reportedly fled the scene on foot down Hazel Patch Road and into the woods.
Raymond is now charged with manslaughter second degree, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to stop and render aid, and driving on a DUI suspended license.
Officials say Raymond was being held in the Laurel County Detention Center since May 9 on an unrelated trafficking methamphetamine charge, and will continue in the facility after the fatal hit-and-run charges.
