Investigators say two armed men pretending to be police officers broke down the front door of the home and got into a struggle with Mills, who was shot and killed.
Mills was taken to the Knox County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.
Both Baker and Wagner have been charged with murder and are being held in the Knox County Detention Center.
Police say more arrests are pending in connection with the investigation.
