According to police, a fire started in a home after they showed up responding to a call in the area.
It all unfolded ain the 1200 block of Harris Court in Lexington.
Firefighters and neighbors said police were called to the area regarding a domestic disturbance in the area.
Neighbors said that’s when the man got scared, retreated into the house and supposedly started the fire and wouldn’t come out.

Once inside, firefighters checked the home several times finding no one inside.
They did discover a back window that had been broken and blood on it.
According to officials, two rooms in the duplex were severely damaged.
Police then went searching with dogs for the man and eventually invstigators located him on Interstate 75.
There is no word yet on his condition.
Arson Investigators are trying to determine an official cause of the fire.
