Emergency crews have shut down a road in Scott County after a deadly crash.
It happened on Cincinnati Road just north of Eagle Springs around 3:3 p.m. Friday.
Deputies said a group of bicyclists were stopped on the side of the road doing maintenance when a pickup, which was heading southbound, somehow ran into two of the bicyclists.
One woman was killed and another bicyclist was hurt.

The woman has been identied as 24-year-old Jamie Peters from Baltimore.
Peters was in Kentucky with the biking group 4K For Cancer, a group that bikes across the country. According to investigators, the group was heading toward Lexington when the accident happened.
Investigators said they don’t believe there were any contributing factors in this crash and have the driver still on scene.
They also have crash reconstruction units out there from the Georgetown Police Department and plan to keep the road closed as they gather evidence.
The second person that was hit only had minor injuries and was taken to Georgetown Hospital.
