Lexington Police are attempting to locate a vehicle they say left the scene of a fatal collision in May.
Police are looking for a 1990’s model, dark-colored BMW they believe was involved in a collision that claimed the life of a woman on Leestown Road and Robinson Way on May 31.
Police say 39-year-old Mary Anne Reynolds Drury’s motorcycle hit the back of the BMW, lost control, crossed over into the inbound lane of Leestown Road and was struck by a Humvee. The Humvee stopped, but the BMW continued travelling down the highway, police said.
