A jury has found a man guilty in the 2013 death of a Whitley County man.
Samuel Plotnick will serve eight years on a second degree manslaughter charge in the death of Jimmy Peace.
Police say Plotnick attacked the 55-year-old in Dec. 2012. Peace was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital where he died of head and internal injuries.

Plotnick was originally charged with assault, but that charge was upgraded to murder once Peace died.
Plotnick is set to be formally sentenced on Oct. 6.
