Federal authorities believe a man abducted his 9-year-old son and sailed with him to the San Juan Islands, Mexico or even Tahiti in a case of parental kidnapping.
Billy Ginger Hanson, 9, was last seen at the Shilshole Bay Marina at 7001 Seaview Avenue Northwest in Seattle’s Ballard Neighborhood. He was staying there on his father’s sailboat.

Billy is white with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 4 feet tall and weighs 90 pounds. The last time he was seen he was wearing only black knee-length surf shorts and no shoes.
The boy is from Pennsylvania and was in Seattle visiting his father. Billy was due to return to his mother in Pennsylvania on Sept. 4, but never boarded the flight.
