Mesquite police received a report today of a missing man with special needs that disappeared from a residential treatment facility in the 1400 block of Parkwood Trail.
Tam Thien Nguyen, a 51-year-old Asian male, walked away from the facility at 2:30 p.m. Nguyen is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is deaf and non-verbal, and does not know American Sign Language.

When last seen Nguyen was wearing a brown or black shirt and khaki pants. He left the home without his medication. Police believe Nguyen poses a danger to himself and there is concern for his welfare.
