UPDATE: (4:50 p.m.):
The sheriff’s office is asking any farmers or owners of large areas of land in the Scott area to please check their properties to help in the search for Beverly Carter.
Police are using a helicopter and search dogs to look for Carter. Volunteers and fellow realtors are also helping search and hand out flyers.

ORIGINAL REPORT (10:30 a.m.):
Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is searching for missing realtor Beverly Carter.
Authorities were called to 14202 Old River Drive around 11:00 Thursday night after reports of a missing person. Officers said they met Beverly’s husband Carl Carter in the driveway of the residence.
Mr. Carter told police he had not been in contact with his wife since she had last called him around 5:30 p.m. Beverly Carter works as a realtor for Crye-Leike Realty. She told her husband she was going to show the house at 14202 Old River Drive to an unknown person. Around 9 p.m. he became worried when he had not heard from his wife and went to check on her at the home.
Mr. Carter told police he found her brown 2014 Cadillac SRX with the license plate “BCARTER” parked in the driveway with her purse inside. He also found the door to the residence open, so he walked inside and searched for his wife but did not find her.
Beverly Carter was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt and red shorts.
