Local police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.
The West Milford Police Department posted a missing person alert for township resident Josiah Chaplain on its Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon. Chaplain has been missing since 12 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26.
According to the alert, Chaplain is 23 years old with brown hair, brown eyes, and a light complexion.

He is 5-foot-7-inches tall, and weighs approximately 155 pounds.
The West Milford Police Department asks that people contact them if they may have information about Chaplain or know where he may be. The police can be reached at 973-728-2800.
