A crash in western Kentucky killed an elderly man Friday.
State police say a 83-year-old Virges Mayes was crossing U.S. 68 in Todd County. Investigators say Mayes drove into the path of an SUV.

Mayes died at the scene. The woman with Mayes was flown to a hospital in Nashville for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was also hurt.
