Wrongful Death Teen Suspect ID’d in Triple Homicide

Investigators in Maryland have identified the suspected killer in a Whitley County triple murder case.

Police in Corbin say they got a call from police in Baltimore County after a deadly shootout with 16-year-old Jason Hendrix on Saturday. Investigators say Hendrix wouldn’t stop for an officer, hit another car then opened fire on officers. Police returned fire and shot and killed Hendrix.

When officers in Corbin went to Hendrix’s home, they found three people dead. Union College professor Sarah Hendrix, her husband Kevin and a minor had been shot to death. Investigators believe they may have been killed as early as Wednesday.

No word on a possible motive for the crime.
