A Moose Lake man has been sentenced to more than 15 years in federal prison for producing child porn, U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger announced Friday.
Lance Dean Plunske, 57, pleaded guilty in November to one count of producing child porn. According to court documents, he took sexually-explicit photos of a 15-year-old girl from August 2008 to January 2009.

Plunske was already convicted in 2009 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and was ordered to serve 12 years in state prison. After that conviction, he was investigated and prosecuted on the child porn charges, which led to the federal conviction.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Plunske will begin serving his federal sentence after his state sentence.
The case was prosecuted as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
