The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating an at-risk man missing since Friday.
Eleuterio Bernal, 38, of Santa Cruz, was first reported missing on Friday around 6:20 p.m. by his family, after they had not heard from him in 10 days, according to sheriff’s officials. Deputies said that Bernal has medical issues that place him at-risk.

Bernal is homeless and frequents the San Lorenzo Park area, as well as the Soquel Avenue area, according to sheriff’s officials.
Bernal is described as a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and around 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, sheriff’s officials said.
Additionally, he has his last name, “Bernal,” tattooed across his chest, a Pisces horoscope symbol on one arm and red star tattoo that reads “mom” on the other, according to deputies.
The sheriff’s office encourages the public to be on the lookout and to call (831) 471-1121 if they’ve seen Bernal or have any information about his whereabouts.
