In light of Lindsay Lohan’s recent experience with a trespasser at her home, she is now looking to hire a new bodyguard. Since a strange man was reportedly knocking on her door a couple of days ago, Lindsay has decided that better security is a must.

According to a report from TMZ, Lindsay plans to have security cameras installed both inside and outside of her L.A. home. Once she learned that her most recent trespasses has some ties to a former stalker–David Cocordan–she decided that enough was enough.
Lonnie Short walked right up to Lindsay’s front door on January 2nd and knock on it. How could he have gotten past her bodyguard and come that close to Lohan’s home? Surely the bodyguard was either sleeping on the job or simply not paying attention to the surroundings.
One can’t blame Lindsay Lohan for ramping up security at her home, and for hiring a new bodyguard. Hopefully she has a really good agency to screen her bodyguard candidates, because that would be yet another perfect way for a stalker to get near the Playboy centerfold.
Lonnie Short is presently in jail–being held on $1,000 cash. No doubt it will cost Lindsay Lohan far more than that to beef up security, and to hire a beefier security guard–but it will definitely be money well spent.
Can you imagine how frightening it must have been to find this man at her door, and then to learn that he is somehow connected to her previous stalker?
