The family of a missing Magnolia woman, initially helped in its search by dozens of volunteers, is now canvasing the full length of Texas on its own in a desperate search for the wife and mother who vanished 12 days ago.
Danielle Sleeper, 32, was last seen at her home on Sunday morning, March 22, 2015. She didn’t leave in her personal vehicle but apparently took her purse and her phone.
“We have been everywhere that we can get,” said Tannah Cross, Sleeper’s sister.

Cross and a friend, reached by phone in Corsicana, began Friday with an early morning drive as far north as Waxahachie to pass out missing persons posters to every major truck stop and roadside convenience store they could find.
But 12 days into the search, Cross says her family still doesn’t know why Sleeper disappeared.
“That’s what’s got me baffled, because she wasn’t a person that would just take off and not contact anybody at all and leave her kids behind. Her kids were everything,” Cross said.
Cross says her sister is also prone to seizures and seems to have left her medication behind as well. Sleeper has a “tribal tattoo” on the top her foot, a frog tattoo on an ankle with the names Colton & Dylan around it and a cross tattoo on her back with a red-orange-yellow fade.
Texas Equusearch and its team of volunteers assisted in the initial search in the Magnolia area, but additional searches have been put on hold pending new information in the case.
Anyone with information that might help find Sleeper is asked to call the Montgomery County Sherriff’s Office at (936) 760-5800 or Texas Equusearch at 281-309-9500 or Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line 713-222-TIPS (8477).
“We are completely worried and scared that something bad has happened because she wouldn’t just walk away from everything,” said Cross.
