Drug Dog Sweep Monticello Man Arrested After Police Discover 128 Grams of Meth

Danville police tell LEX 18 News that a Monticello man is under arrest tonight on a host of drug charges following a report of two men acting suspicious around children in Millennium Park. As officers approached the men’s car, they observed the passenger stuffing something into his pants. After calling in a K-9 unit, officers located marijuana, 128 grams of methamphetamine, narcotics related equipment, scales, plastic baggies and cash.

At that point, 53-year-old Terry L. Lowe of Monticello was arrested on numerous charges including marijuana possession, three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, promoting contraband and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lowe also had warrants out of Wayne county for charges including drug and firearm violations. He was also wanted for being a Persistent Felony Offender.
