The Lexington man convicted of killing his girlfriend and dumping her body in a trash bag was sentenced Thursday.
Chico Rucker was convicted of second degree manslaughter and sentenced to 20 years in the death of 32-year-old Elmia farris.

Farris’ body was found in July of 2013 near a building on Mariette Drive.
Rucker was originally charged with murder but a grand jury amended the charge.
