It’s been almost 20 years since a deadly fire at a northern Kentucky building and investigators still aren’t exactly sure what happened. An arson at Hotel Donald in 1996 killed 2 children in Grant County, now police are asking for the public’s help to solve the old crime.
Sometime in the night of July 15th that year, a fire started at the Hotel Donald in Williamstown. The building help offices, apartments and hotel rooms. 9 year old Cedric Kinmon and his 10 year old friend Megan Davis were killed. When arson investigators went through the building after the fire, the K-9’s found several spots of accelerant near a couch on the first floor.

Now , 19 years later, the case has gone cold and investigators are reaching back out to the public again and asking people to please come forward with any information you might have. You can call State Police in Dry Ridge with any tips on the case.
