Pedophile Tracking Nicholasville Man Sentenced in Child Pornography Case

In a press release from the FBI, it was announced that a Nicholasville man has been sentenced to 84 months in a federal prison for making child pornography images available for download on the internet.

Chief U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell sentenced Jeffrey Treadway, 37, for distribution of child pornography last Thursday.

According to federal law, Treadway must serve at least 85% of his prison sentence. Following his released, he will be under the U.S Probation Office’s supervision for 25 years.

Court documents said that in 2013 law enforcement traced several child pornography files for download on the internet to Treadway’s home computer in Nicholasville.

After the FBI searched his computer, they found over 20,000 images of children engaged in sexually explicit content, some of those children under the age of 12.
