What started with an iPhone being sold on Instagram, ended with two Louisville teens facing attempted murder charges.
Authorities say the situation started with a post on Instagram about a phone for sale, but police say there never really was a phone and no real intent to sell one.

When a teenage girl and her parents went to buy the phone, police say two teens reached into the car and tried to take their money. That’s when authorities say the teens fired five shots at the family’s car.
When police caught up with one of the teens, authorities say the teen tried to pull a gun on the officer. The officer then attempted to use a stun gun on the suspect but it didn’t work. That’s when police say other officers jumped in and stopped the suspect from shooting the officer.
Although the family involved was not hurt, one officer was injured while chasing one of the suspects.
Both teens were arrested and police are hoping both will be tried as adults.
