A Kentucky native is hoping that new information could lead to a fresh investigation into the 2010 death of his brother in Whitley County.
Carl Loy says that one state medical examiner said his brother died from blunt force trauma to the head, and then about two weeks later there was a new examiner and a new report that claimed his brother died of an overdose.

Loy said that he does not believe the prescription medications led to Gary Loy’s death. Gary’s wife, Michelle Loy, is currently spending time behind bars for a manslaughter charge in the death of her grandmother.
Her grandmother died of blunt force trauma.
Carl does not think the connection in the two tragedies is a coincidence.
Carl hopes that someone will give them new information that could start a new investigation.
