A Grants Pass man is behind bars after police say he touched an 11 year old girl in a sexual manner. Frazier Leslie, 44, was lodged Thursday morning after a 10 day search.
Detectives with Grants Pass Public Safety said on January 11, 2016 the minor was sitting in a chair next to her mother at Rite Aid, 1642 Williams Hwy in Grants Pass. Video surveillance showed Leslie sat next to the pair and started talking to the girl. Detectives said the mother stepped away momentarily and Leslie immediately touched the young girl in a sexual manner. The girl walked away from the suspect and reported the incident to her mother.

They said Leslie fled the store on foot and could not be found.
Detectives released photos of the suspect to the public via the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety Facebook page in an attempt to identify the suspect. Just before 9:00 am Thursday, an alert citizen contacted police and reported a sighting of the suspect on 6th street near the Caveman Bridge. Detectives immediately responded and located a subject matching the suspect’s description walking in the area of SW 5th Street and SW ‘G’ Street.
Leslie was immediately arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail for Sexual Abuse. The investigation is continuing and anyone with further information on this matter is encouraged to contact Detective Heather Yerrick at 541-450-6260.
