Detectives have classified Sunday night’s suspicious death in the Lents neighborhood as a homicide.
Gary Jay BaechlerPortland Police BureauPolice identified Gary Jay Baechler, 48, as the victim officers found just after 5 p.m. at the 6900 block of Southeast 110th Avenue. He died of multiple gunshot wounds, police said through a press release.

Detectives hope to generate tips from the public by releasing Baechler’s 2014 Oregon driver’s license photo. No other information was released.
