Missing Person 6th Person Charged in Connection With Missing Dora, AL Teen’s Murder

A sixth person has been charged in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Nicholas Hawkins.

39-year-old Lawanda Marie Reese, of Quinton, Ala., was arrested Wednesday and charged with hindering prosecution, according to court documents.

According to court records, Lawanda Reese is accused of rendering criminal assistance to Joshua Adam Reese, who is charged with murder in Hawkins’ death, “by lying and/or withholding information regarding a murder investigation.”

Her bond is set at $100,000, cash.

Below are the other five suspects charged:

21-year-old Joshua Adam Reese, of Quinton, Ala. is charged with murder. He has a court order to be held on no bond, but the bond amount for the murder charge is $250,00 cash, and $500 cash for a CRO violation charge.

28-year-old Cory Daniel Conner of Dora is charged with murder. His bond is set at $250,000, cash for the murder charge, and $500 cash bond for a charge of CRO violation.

22-year-old Danny Lee Jarvis, of Sumiton, is charged with murder with a cash bond of $250,000.

20-year-old Colton Stephens Echols, of Sumiton, is charged with hindering prosecution in the 1st, a felony charge. His bond is set at $100,000, cash.

23-year-old Tessa Jean Wise, of Dora, is charged with hindering prosecution with a cash bond set at $100,000.
