Wrongful Death Murder Suspect Leads Police on High Speed Pursuit

A man wanted in connection with the shooting of a woman in Louisville was arrested Friday after a pursuit.

State Police in Bowling Green say that Louisville Metro Police asked them to try and locate a murder suspect. Around 8:37 a.m., troopers from KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green spotted the suspect’s car on I-65 around the 58 mile marker.  The Nissan was traveling southbound.

Police tried to stop the vehicle but the suspect just kept driving.

He led troopers on a high-speed pursuit through four counties until he lost control of his vehicle at the 40 mile marker, spun out of control and wrecked off the right side of the roadway.

Stuart Cox, 24 o f Louisville, was taken into custody and relinquished over the detectives of the Louisville Metro Police Department where he was arrested and charged with Murder.
