The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help them locate a missing person.
Madelin Nicole McLaughlin, age 16 of Taylorsville, was last heard from oin Thursday (March 31). McLaughlin was last seen in the 6400 Block of Paul Payne Store Road. The Sheriff’s Office has entered her into a Nationwide Database for Missing Persons.

It is unclear at this time what Nicole may be wearing or what type vehicle she may have left in. She is described as a white female approximately 5’5”, 140 lbs. blonde hair, blue eyes, a nose piercing and possibly some type of markings on her left arm. At this time the Sheriff’s Office has reason to believe that McLaughlin may be suicidal.
