A woman reported missing from Casey County on Tuesday was found dead after her vehicle was discovered over an embankment.
Kentucky State Police say that Carla Monday, 54, was reported missing by family members on Wednesday, May 11th after not showing up from work on Tuesday evening. She also never reported to her noon shift at Amazon.com on Tuesday.
Troopers began searching the route she was known to take to work, and discovered the vehicle off of Stoner Creek Road.

They believe the crash happened Tuesday around 11:40 a.m. when Monday was driving her 2005 Saturn. She ran off the road, ran over the embankment and struck several trees.
She was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
