WPSD is reporting that KSP is investigating a helicopter crash at the TVA site between Paducah and Mayfield.
The crash happened at 11:23 a.m. on Monday.
They report that the pilot of the Bell 407 helicopter is dead. TWPSD says that the Kentucky State Police has identified the pilot as TVA John Love of Maryville, Tennessee.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.
KSP is handling the death investigation and the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the crash.
