Family members searching for the bodies of a murdered couple say new evidence led them to Winchester on Saturday.
Relatives of Crystal Warner and Bobby Jones say surveillance tape, not yet released by Kentucky State Police, shows Craig Pennington at a Winchester McDonald’s when the couple went missing.
“We do know that the son had waited at the McDonald’s in Winchester,” said Bobby’s ex-wife, Jaclyn Jones.
Pennington was the last person to see the couple hours earlier about 80 miles away in Washington County.

On Saturday, loved ones searched for the couple’s bodies about 7 miles away from the McDonald’s.
“It was out of character to not call in to work, or text his son back, or reach out to anyone,” said Jones.
Friends and family searched 15-20 miles around Mt. Zion Christian Church Saturday.
“We are just trying to give ourselves to bring both of them home,” said Bobby’s friend, Jason Wright.
“We are holding it all together to bring Bobby home to his boys, and Crystal, but it’s not easy right now,” said Bobby’s friend, Jeff Burg.
The Ballard family knows what it’s like to have a missing loved one. Their daughter, Crystal Rogers shares the same first name, age and date of disappearance as Crystal Warner.
The Ballard family still hasn’t found their daughter, but came out Saturday to help.
“I was nervous coming up here because I didn’t know how I was going to react searching again, or if it would bring back everything to me, but I don’t want any family going through what we did. Anything we can do to help,” said Sherry and Tommy Ballard.
The family says knowing they are a few steps closer to closure is what keeps them going.
Pennington has been charged with the couple’s murders and his bond is set at 2 million dollars.
Anyone in area is asked to check their own private property for any clues.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover their search efforts. Click here for more information.
