A death investigation is underway at three Lexington locations after a female’s dismembered body was discovered.
The victim was found dead at an apartment complex on Malabu Drive and a suspect is being questioned. There appears to be one large crime scene at three different locations in a close proximity to one another. One crime scene is located at Malabu Manor, one is at Brookhaven Apartments and another is located at a nearby office building.

Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn says the scene is part of a very active homicide investigation. Police received a tip to check the dumpsters near the building.
Ginn also told reporters that the woman’s body was mutilated after she was murdered and was placed in two separate locations. The suspect is a resident of one of the apartment complexes in question.
