Wrongful Death Woman Accused of Killing Parents Arrested for Breaking Into Their Home

The Owsley County woman accused of murdering her elderly parents was arrested over the weekend on burglary charges.

Lynette Renee McQuinn, 48, is accused of killing her parents, 70-year-old Robert John McQuinn and 66-year-old Ada Pearl McQuinn, in their Owsley County home back in May.

She was released from the Three Forks Regional Jail earlier this month because she had not been indicted within a 60 day period.

Now McQuinn is being accused of breaking into the home where her parents were murdered.

According to the arrest citation, a witness told police that they noticed McQuinn enter her parents’ home through a room that was in the back of the attached garage this weekend.

The citation goes on to say that when police arrested her for burglary, she started yelling at the officer, telling him to get his gun out.

McQuinn is charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Disorderly Conduct 2nd degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree.

Police say they found five Hydrocodone pills in McQuinn’s purse when they arrested her.

She is scheduled for a video arraignment on August 11 at 9:30 a.m.
