Wrongful Death Investigators Still Looking for Driver in Fatal Hit and Run

Investigators are still looking for the driver of a small, blue hatchback that they say hit and killed a 10-year-old Pulaski County boy.

Stanley Turner was killed in a hit-and-run on June 20th on Rock Lick Creek Road.

On that road sits a cross adorned with flowers to honor his memory.

Deputies say that whoever hit the boy kept driving.

Friends and family members of Turner told LEX 18’s Breanna Gilroy that they cannot take it anymore, and they want to know who hit the child.

They have started a fund to help attract more tips in the case. The fund has more than $2,000, all from donations, for the person who can lead them to the driver responsible for Turner’s death.

“I’m not mad,” said Turner’s grandmother, Karen Godsey, “I’m really upset.  I’m not mad because I know it probably really was an accident.”

Deputies say that they are looking for a woman who was driving a small, blue hatchback with Ohio plates.

If you have any information on this case, please call the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

If you would like to donate to the “Justice for Stanley” fund, you can do so at the First Southern National Bank in Somerset.
